When you visit this website

We serve this website through OpenAI Sites using Cloudflare infrastructure. Hosting providers necessarily process connection and technical request data, such as your IP address and request time, to deliver and protect the site. We do not operate a visitor account database, photo-upload form, advertising pixel or behavioral analytics script on this website. Hosting infrastructure may maintain operational and security logs under its own applicable terms and policies; we do not claim zero retention or processing only in Switzerland or the EU.

The site does not set application cookies or use browser storage in its own code. Infrastructure security features may process technical data. If you email us, we process the contact details and information you provide to respond and handle your request. Please do not send private photos, credentials, purchase tokens or unnecessary identity documents. We retain correspondence only as needed to handle the request and applicable legal obligations.

How the development app handles photos

The development app uses the photo-library access you grant to read photo references, available capture and location information, and album information. Photo analysis results, your album choices, consent and progress are stored on your device. This helps you organize photos and return to saved work. It is not a person-identification service.

After explicit consent, small photo previews and relevant text you provide, such as optional interests and album descriptions, are sent for external AI processing to suggest photo organization. Current AI recipients are Google and TypeSafe AI, Inc. Google’s contracting entity depends on the applicable account agreement; its entity information identifies Google Cloud EMEA Limited for standard paid agreements with a Swiss billing address. The exact release agreement remains to be verified. Original photos remain unchanged. Embedded image metadata is removed before transmission; precise GPS fields, filenames and photo-library identifiers are not deliberately sent. Faces, readable text and sensitive details may still be visible. A small preview is not anonymous.

Storage, recipients and international processing

Our processing service keeps organization results and technical usage and recovery records to operate the preview and restore progress. The development service does not deliberately retain preview image files, but this does not establish the behavior of every hosting system, backup or external provider. Release retention periods, deletion arrangements, processing countries and transfer safeguards must be verified before public AI processing is offered.

External providers process data under their applicable agreements and privacy policies. Provider handling can include security or abuse monitoring and legally required retention. Processing may occur outside Switzerland or the EEA, including in the United States. We do not promise zero retention or exclusively Swiss/EU processing. See Google privacy information and TypeSafe privacy information. These references do not verify this app’s release settings.

Your choices and rights

The development flow requires an initially unchecked, explicit AI-consent choice before uploads and before the payment step. Declining does not upload photos or make a purchase. Withdrawing AI consent stops new uploads, but cannot recall an already sent request and does not automatically erase saved progress or vendor data. You can change photo access in device Settings. See data-deletion information for the current request process.

Depending on applicable Swiss/EU law, you may have rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, and to withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Contact us to make a request or raise a concern. You may complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner or the competent data-protection authority where applicable. The legal basis, processor arrangements, transfer safeguards and any necessary impact assessment for a public app release must be finalized before that service launches.

Age and future availability

Sortlino is a general-purpose photo organizer in development. It is not publicly available. Eligibility and data-protection arrangements for the intended audience must be finalized before public AI processing begins. This website does not enroll people in an AI service or verify their age.
